Art Teacher, Tom Myers, instructs assists and advises teens on CARTOONING.  Create your own three frame comic strip.  Bring story ideas and your imaginations! Sign-up required. (Ages 13 to 18)

 

 

Wednesday                    June 23       6:30 to 8:00

Join Lora-Lynn and Learn to KNIT like a VIKING!  Vikings used metal wire to create hollow chains that were turned into jewelry. Create a bracelet with suede thong, beads and a metal chain that you made! Sign-up required, space limited. (Ages 13 to18)

LOCKER ‘PIC’ BOARD Join our own crafty Kim Preske and create a masterpiece to display your favorite summer pics. (Ages 13 to 18) Plenty of room but, Sign- up required.

Join Mary Kay expert, Laura Kareis, for this hands-on MAKE-UP “HOW-TO” session.  Learn how to clean your face, deal with blemishes and bring out your natural beauty.  (Girls age 13 to 18) Sign-up required.

INTRO TO DIGITAL PHOTOS (part 1)     Grab your camera (digital or not) and learn how to take award winning photos.  Mike Adams and Mike Stackpoole return with expertise to share. (Ages 13 to 18) Sign-up required.

INTRO TO DIGITAL PHOTOS (part 2)     Mike and Mike continue with participants to perfect and experiment with your digital photo techniques. (Part 1 and Sign-up required.) (Ages 13 to 18)

Hugh (of Maize Quest fame) works both the mind and body through the MAZE as you learn the benefits of team work and listening in math class! (Ages 13 to 18) Sign-up required.

          

Wednesday                    July 28        5:30 to 7

Join MC, Maggie for LIBRARY SURVIVOR   Out-read, Out-think and Out-last… Are you a library survivor? Do you have the guts and the knowledge to be the last teen standing? Earn points to win… no “voted out of the library” worries. Sign-up required, limited space. (Age 13 to 18)

 

Monday                           August 2     6 to 7:30

EXCELLENT EARRINGS’   (Guys and Girls age 13—18) Join our earring expert, Marianne, and learn what you need and the steps involved in creating your own “one-of-a-kind” earrings. Design and produce a pair to keep. Plenty of room but, Sign-up required!
